Flagpole

False distortion created by the composition; color contrast bewteen flag and sky; contrast of motion between flag and sky.

I also have matching stills that use a fill flash to foreground the pole in the waning light, which reveals textural reflections between the sky and the pole.

Pure contrast between stone and sky; stone and steel; and stone and plants. Factual contrast, as well as the effects of motion. Reflection of shape between stones and clouds.

Strategy #1

Using a mini-tripod, capture 2 images. After the first image, move the camera 1 inch to the left while maintaining the same focal point as the first image in order to create a stereoscopic pair.

Only capture images 8 inches from the ground.
